Bill Walton, a member of the NBA Hall of Fame and a concerned San Diego citizen, will be the host for The Photocharity National Walk and Concert to Save Homeless Youth that will take place on Saturday, November 12 at NTC Park at Liberty Station on Point Loma. While at UCLA Walton was a member of two NCAA championship teams compiling an NCAA record off 88 consecutive game winning streak. He was a three time All-American, Player of the Year and The Sullivan Award winner as the top amateur athlete in the United States in 1973. He played in the NBA for The Portland Trailblazers and the Boston Celtics and in 1978 was voted “The Most Valuable Player in the NBA.”
